In an effort to make up for several cancellations during its 2008 winter-spring meet, Beulah Park has added three Fridays - March 7, 14, and 28 - to its schedule. . . . Australia's William Inglis & Son's Easter broodmare sale will feature the complete dispersal of the late Robert Sangster's Swettenham Stud on May 4, at the first of two select broodmare sessions. The Swettenham consignment will include 54 mares, highlighted by such horses as champion Isca and Group 1 winners Kapchat, in foal to Nadeem; Larrocha, in foal to Encosta de Lago; and Leica Smile. . . . The public partnership group West Point Thoroughbreds has promoted Josh Cooper from chief financial officer to chief operating officer and has hired Tom Bellhouse as executive vice-president of East Coast operations. Bellhouse previously was a sales director for a division of the Chrysler automobile company.
