Jockey Cliff Berry picked up career win 2,000 on Monday at Remington Park, winning the nightcap with longshot Ed's Bet Man ($41). Because of heavy rains that created unsafe track conditions, management canceled Tuesday's live racing program at Delaware Park. Racing was scheduled to resume Wednesday. . . . The Louisiana Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association scheduled an emergency board meeting for Thursday, as contract negotiations between the Louisiana HBPA and Delta Downs in Vinton, La., continue.
