Apprentice rider Kris Prather, who has sidelined since late June with a pelvis injury, is scheduled to return to action Saturday at Churchill Downs to ride Homem Ra in the fourth race. Prather has had several injuries in her career, which began in August 2000, and is still eligible to ride with a five-pound apprentice allowance for about two more months. . . . Jockey Jozbin Santana rode four winners on Thursday's card at Laurel Park. With 19 wins, Santana is tied with Mario Pino for third place in Laurel's fall meet rider standings. . . . Blaine Story has resigned as president of the Oklahoma Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association. His position has been filled by Brenda Royse, an owner who had served as vice president of the Oklahoma HBPA.
