Kerri Casner, 23-year-old daughter of WinStar Farm co-owners Bill and Susan Casner, is among the missing from Saturday's terrorist bombing in Bali, Indonesia. According to a statement issued Wednesday by the Versailles, Ky., farm, the Casners are in Bali searching for their daughter, who so far has not been identified among the dead or wounded. . . . After winning the first four races on Wednesday's Bay Meadows card, Russell Baze pulled within 15 winners of the 8,000 mark for his career. He would become the fourth rider in history to have 8,000 victories. He currently trails Laffit Pincay Jr., Bill Shoemaker, and Pat Day. . . . Heavy rain and strong winds caused the cancellation of live racing Wednesday at Philadelphia Park and Delaware Park. Racing was scheduled to resume at both tracks Saturday. . . . Dan Pride, 34, has joined Sheikh Mohammed al Maktoum's Darley operation at its Kentucky farm, Jonabell. Pride, who most recently worked for Taylor Made Farm in Nicholasville, Ky., will assist Jonabell's Jimmy Bell in selling seasons to the farm's stallions.
