Conrad Rountee, 64, an outrider at Arlington Park, had a heart attack before the first race on Friday and was taken by ambulance to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Ill., where he was listed in critical condition as of Friday evening. . . . Jockeys Luis and Belen Quinonez, who are brothers, dead-heated for the win in the fifth race at Remington Park on Thursday night. . . . Five people protesting outside Churchill Downs were arrested on Thursday for second-degree criminal trespassing. The protestors claimed that Churchill Downs had failed to comply with state regulations concerning minority-owned construction firms hired to do work at the track.
