The Orangeburg (S.C.) Times and Democrat has reported that Lucia Carroll, owner of the Easy Breeze Farm training center in St. Matthews, S.C., was arrested last week in St. Matthews and charged with trafficking marijuana. Carroll, who was not reachable by phone Monday, was arrested after police acted on a tip and seized about 1,500 marijuana plants. Carroll was released on a $100,000 personal recognizance bond. . . . Gemstar-TV Guide International Inc., the parent company of Television Games Network, received a notice from NASDAQ that it may be delisted from the market exchange because the company has not yet filed a quarterly report. Gemstar officials said that the company has requested a hearing in the next 30 days to appeal the delisting, and has been assured that the company will not be delisted before the hearing.
