Etc. . . .

Horsemen's Park in Omaha, Neb., has until June 10 to appeal a recent Nebraska Supreme Court ruling that telephone wagering is illegal in the state, Dick Moore, the track's general manager, said Wednesday. In partnership with four other Nebraska tracks, Horsemen's Park's account-wagering operation had signed on approximately 500 customers who were betting $60,000 a week since being launched late last year, Moore said. . . . The online bloodstock sales service Equine Spectrum established a partnership with the LetItRide.com Companies that will allow sellers to cross-list their horses on online bloodstock services in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The arrangement is designed to allow sellers to promote their horses in online markets targeting audiences in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Macau, and, later this year, South Africa.
