Trainer Roy Houghton, who saddled Airship to win the third race at Sportsman's Park on Monday, was taken to the MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Ill., later in the afternoon while complaining of chest pains. On Tuesday, Houghton was listed in critical condition in the intensive care unit. . . . North America's top-priced yearling colt last year, a $6.4 million son of Storm Cat and Halory who sold at the 2001 Keeneland September sale, has been named Van Nistlerooy by owners Sue Magnier and Michael Tabor. The colt is named for Ruud Van Nistlerooy, a player on England's popular Manchester United soccer team.
