Jockey Eddie Delahoussaye has been voted into the the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association and will be honored at induction ceremonies in June. Delahoussaye, a 50-year-old native of New Iberia, La., was elected in his first year of eligibility, as athletes in "lifetime sports" become eligible for the Hall at age 50. . . . Officials with CIE, an international entertainment corporation based in Mexico City, have extended their strategic partnership with Lone Star Park near Dallas through 2003. The track has served as chief racing advisor to the CIE's Hipodromo de las Americas in Mexico City since 1999.
