Etc. . . .

Multiple graded winner Rockport Harbor will begin his stud career in 2007 with a $20,000 stud fee at Darley at Jonabell near Lexington, Ky., the farm announced. Fees for Darley's other stallions in Kentucky will remain the same in 2007 as they were this year, though Darley has not announced a 2007 fee for Rossini, who stood for $10,000 in 2006. . . . Juddmonte Farm has not raised the fees for its United States-based stallions, including the $100,000 fee of first-crop sire Empire Maker. The farm's Lexington, Ky., division also announced that it has retired Distant View, the 15-year-old sire of seven-time Grade 1 winner Sightseek, on veterinary advice about signs of arthritis in his neck. . . . Crafty Friend, sire of Breeders' Cup Sprint candidate and Grade 3 winner Friendly Island, will relocate from Hopewell Farm in Kentucky to Walnford Stud in Allentown, N.J., for 2007. A 13-year-old Crafty Prospector horse, Crafty Friend will stand for $6,000, the same as this year.
