The Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers Club has formed an educational fund for 8-year-old Dustin Mallory, the son of Paris, Ky., breeder Dan Mallory, who was killed when Comair Flight 5191 crashed on Aug. 27. Kentucky and Florida farm managers have pledged more than $10,000 to launch the fund, to which contributions can be made via Suzanne Smith at Chase Bank, 1785 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, Ky., 40504, telephone 859-231-2552. . . . Canterbury Park will hold its annual October-Fest Handicapping Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 14. The top three finishers will qualify for the Daily Racing Form/ National Thoroughbred Racing Association National Handicap-ping Championship at Bally's Las Vegas in January 2007
