Littleexpectations, the sire of King of the Roxy, winner of Saturday's Grade 2 Futurity at Belmont, will stand the 2007 breeding season at Millennium Farms Kentucky for an as-yet-unannounced fee. Littleexpectations, a 9-year-old Valid Appeal-Mepache horse, stood the 2006 season at Q6 Ranch in Texas for $3,500. . . . Ballena Vista Farm in Ramona, Calif., has privately purchased Grade 1 winner and sire Deputy Commander (Deputy Minister-Anka Germania, by Malinowski) and will stand him in 2007 for a $10,500 fee. Deputy Commander, the sire of Grade 1 winner and millionaire Ten Most Wanted and 2006 Grade 2 winner Deputy Glitters, stood in 2006 at Airdrie Stud in Kentucky. . . . Jockey Daniel J. David won his 1,000th race on Sunday when he rode Son of the North ($13.40) to victory in the second race at Fort Erie. . . . Retama Park near San Antonio canceled the last five of nine scheduled races Saturday night because of inclement weather.
