Promenade Girl won the $75,000 Golden Sylvia Handicap by 4 1/4 lengths over Beau Watch on Tuesday night at Mountaineer Park. Promenade Girl ($3.80), ridden by Rex Stokes III for trainer Larry Murray, ran the one-mile race for fillies and mares in 1:36.27 over a fast track. . . . Sunny's Halo, winner of the 1983 Kentucky Derby, will be re-interred at the Kentucky Derby Museum at Churchill Downs. Sunny's Halo was euthanized in June 2003 after a stroke, and the land at the Texas farm where he was buried was recently sold to real estate developers. . . . The Race for Education, which has provided more than $1 million in college scholarships, mostly to the children of backstretch and farm workers, has named Barry Irwin, president of the Team Valor partnerships, the recipient of its first Valedictorian Award for "exceptional support by a volunteer or board member." Irwin is a founding board member, and Team Valor donates 2 percent of stable earnings per year.
