The Pennsylvania Harness Racing Commission has given conditional approval to Magna Entertainment Corp.'s planned sale of The Meadows harness track to a group of investors led by William Paulos and William Wortman. The $250 million sale is contingent on The Meadows being licensed as a slot-machine facility. . . . Penn National Race Course has received approval from the Pennsylvania State Horse Racing Commission to change to a three-day race week. Beginning May 30, racing will be held Tuesday through Thursday with a new post time of 6:45 p.m. Eastern. . . . Ben's Reflection scored a 2 3/4-length win over I Can't Refuse in the $30,000 Shaker Heights Handicap at Thistledown on Friday. Ben's Reflection ($4), trained by Michael W. Nance, covered the six furlongs in l:11.58 over a sloppy track. . . . Catalogs containing 460 juveniles and 16 older horses are available online for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's June 2-year-old and racing-age sale, set for June 20 and 21 at 10:30 a.m. Under-tack shows will take place in Ocala, Fla., on June 17 and 18 at 8 a.m. each day. . . . Jockey Tim Doocy won with five of his eight mounts on Thursday's 10-race card at Prairie Meadows. Doocy moved into second in the rider standings with 22 victories, two behind Glenn Corbett.
