Thistledown stewards have fined trainer Donald E. Roberson $500 and suspended him 60 calendar days, May 31-July 29, after First Choice, who ran first in the sixth race on April 18, was found to contain the prohibited medication Allbuterol, a broncholdialator. Roberson has appealed the ruling with the Ohio State Racing Commission. . . . Will Farish, the ambassador-designate to Great Britain and owner of Lane's End Farm in Versailles, Ky., has total assets of at least $119 million, and with his wife, Sarah Sharp Farish, is beneficiary of trust funds worth at least $46.7 million, according to a report in the Lexington Herald-Leader. In a financial disclosure released by the Office of Government Ethics, Farish - grandson of former Standard Oil president William Stamps Farish - listed more than $50 million in Exxon-Mobil common stock; $5 million to $25 million in Churchill Downs common stock; and Intel stock worth between $5 million and $25 million among his assets.
