Easy Million easy winner in BullDog Stakes

FRESNO, Calif. - Easy Million ($10), claimed two starts back for $50,000 by trainer Bob Hess Jr., earned his first career stakes victory with a two-length victory over Apollo King in the BullDog at the Big Fresno Fair on Sunday.

Easy Million, second in the Grade 3 Berkeley Handicap and third in the Alamedan at Pleasanton early this summer, trailed pacesetting Traffic Update until reaching the lane. He shot into the clear with a strong four-wide rally, quickly going past Traffic Update to win the one-mile race in 1: 35.36. Apollo King, last early, was 2 1/2 lengths in front of Traffic Update for second.

The victory was worth $27,600 increasing Easy Million?s career total to $218,373 with his seventh win in 29 starts.
