Easthams relaunch Legacy Bloodstock

Tommy and Wyndee Eastham, veteran members of the Thoroughbred industry, have relaunched their sales agency, Legacy Bloodstock and will offer horses at the Keeneland January horses of all ages sale.

Operations resume for Legacy Bloodstock after a two-year hiatus where Tommy Eastham served as the director of sales at Darby Dan Farm. Legacy Bloodstock has a 20-horse consignment for the upcoming Keeneland January sale.

"I enjoyed working at Darby Dan and it was a great time of growth for both Darby Dan and me," Eastham said. "As Wyndee and I discussed the future of our family, we felt it was in the best interest of our children to operate as a family business. We want Legacy Bloodstock to fulfill its name and ensure that future generations can share in the experience of owning and operating a family business.

"Wyndee has spent 15 years in the industry investing in relationships both nationally and internationally through her positions at Breeders' Cup and the National Thoroughbred Racing Association," he continued. "These relationships will be a great asset to our clients. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work together in the industry that we share a love and passion for.”

In seven years of operation, Legacy Bloodstock was among the top 15 international consignors four times, with leading graduates including Stardom Bound. The business was formerly co-owned with partner Mark Toothaker.
