Grade 1 winner Dublin was represented by his first foal on Jan. 18, a filly born at Newtown Anner Stud in Millbrook, N.Y.
"She's a strong early foal with great bone and great conformation," Newtown Anner Stud general manager Morris Reagan said.
The chestnut filly is out of the Untuttable mare Heaven's Grace, a full sister to Grade 2 winner This Ones for Phil and a half-sister to stakes winner Tap Dancer.
Her dam, the unraced Septieme Ciel mare Heaven's Gate, is a half-sister to Grade 2 winners Finality and Stolen Beauty. It is the family of Canadian champion Eternal Search and Grade 3 winners Giant Moon and Raslaan.
Dublin, a 6-year-old Afleet Alex horse, won the Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes at Saratoga Race Course as a juvenile in 2009. He was three times graded stakes-placed the following season—including a third place finish in the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby—and retired with two wins from 11 starts for earnings of $438,949.
Out of the Grade 1-winning Storm Bird mare Classy Mirage, Dublin stands as a Spendthrift Farm stallion at Keane Stud in Amenia, N.Y. He entered stud for a fee of $7,500 in 2012 and will stand for the same fee this season.
