Dubai Dancer won her stakes and two-turn debut Sunday in the $70,000 Witches Brew Stakes over a mile and 70 yards at Monmouth Park. It was her third straight victory.

Sent off as the 1-2 favorite in a field of six 3-year-old fillies, Dubai Dancer tracked the pace in third behind Bwana Babe and C C’s Pal. Dubai Dancer moved between those horses on the backstretch and was about head behind Bwana Babe entering the far turn.

With Eddie Castro riding, Dubai Dancer put herself in front of Bwana Babe approaching the stretch and then drew clear for a 2 1/2-length victory over C C’s Pal, who outdueled Bwana Babe by a half-length.

“She moved best today,” Castro said. “She’s a really nice filly. She did everything I asked and ran well to get the job done.”

Dubai Dancer, trained by Kiaran McLaughlin and owned by Darley Stable, covered the distance on a fast track in 1:43.01. She returned $3.

A daughter of A.P. Indy out of the Mr. Prospector mare Dubai Belle, earned $42,000 for the win, pushing her career bankroll to $101,000. She has won 3 of 4 career starts.
