Dressed for Action wires Matchmaker at Fort Erie

Dressed for Action speeds to the wire en route to a 1 1/2 length victory in Sunday's $77,000 Adena Springs Matchmaker at Fort Erie on Sunday.

Dressed for Action recorded a front-running, 1 1/2 length victory in Sunday's $77,000 Adena Springs Matchmaker, a five-furlong turf race at Fort Erie.

Owned by Shoestring Stable and based at Woodbine with trainer Tony Mattine, Dressed for Action was ridden by Ray Sabourin and returned $7.30 as the favorite in the field of 10 fillies and mares.

Soon to Be Single rallied to finish second, at 20-1, with Leading Role third as the 9-2 second choice.

Dressed for Action, an Ontario-sired 4-year-old, picked up $48,000 for her second stakes win. Last year, she won the 6 1/2-furlong Ontario Damsel on the turf at Woodbine.

Her final time over the "good" going here Sunday was :58.55.
