Dominguez caps three-win day on Go Go Shoot

Jockey Ramon Dominguez completed a three-win day by guiding Go Go Shoot ($2.80) to a one-length victory in the $72,750 Francis "Jock" LaBelle Memorial Stakes for 3-year-olds at Delaware Park. Dominguez has won the first two stakes of the meet that began April 19.

Based in New York with trainer Jim Ryerson, Go Go Shoot is now 4 for 6 lifetime, including three stakes. One of only four horses left in the field, including the maiden filly Warm Climate, following two scratches, Go Go Shoot outdueled fellow New York invader Bang Bang Bang early, opened up a three-length lead in midstretch, and was not seriously threatened by runner-up Loveyouintheworld's mild late rally.

A son of Songandaprayer owned by former Duke University basketball star Bobby Hurley, Go Go Shoot covered six furlongs on a fast track in 1:11.44.
