With Distinction, Rattlesnake Bridge lead Hartley/De Renzo roster

With Distinction will once again stand for an advertised fee of $7,500 in 2017.

Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds in Ocala, Fla., will stand a trio of stallions in 2017, all with unchanged fees from the previous breeding season.

Veteran stallion With Distinction will once again stand for an advertised fee of $7,500.

With Distinction, a 16-year-old son of Storm Cat, has eight crops of racing age for combined progeny earnings in excess of $21.8 million. His leading runners of 2016 included stakes winners We’re All Set and Too Clever by Half, as well as stakes-placed Distinctive Lady and Too Fast to Pass, and Puerto Rican Group 3-placed Distinction Bird.

Grade 1-placed stakes winner Rattlesnake Bridge will also command $7,500 during the upcoming breeding season. His first foals are 2-year-olds of 2017.

A 9-year-old Tapit horse, Rattlesnake Bridge won 3 of 11 starts for earnings of $518,800, with a win in the listed Long Branch Stakes at Monmouth Park and placings in the Grade 1 Travers Stakes, Grade 2 Pennsylvania Derby, and Grade 3 Westchester Stakes.

The Green Monkey, a 13-year-old son of Forestry, will stand for $5,000.

The record-priced juvenile has six crops of racing age and combined progeny earnings of more than $1.7 million. He was led on the track last year by two-time winners Green Doctor and Don’t Tell Vanessa.
