Dinner At Arlene's captures Boeing

AUBURN, Wash. - Dinner At Arlene's took advantage of a costly mistake by heavily favored A Classic Life and won Saturday's $40,000 Boeing Handicap by 1 1-2 lengths over Queenledo. Gins Majesty got up for third and A Classic Life salvaged fourth after breaking eight to ten lengths behind her five rivals.

Dinner At Arlene's, a 4-year-old daughter of Forrestry who races for Northwest Farms, took the lead at the start and was never threatened through 1 1-16 miles in a stakes record 1:41.20. She paid $9.80 to win as part of an entry with Debbie's Assault. Dinner At Arlene's is trained by Doris Harwood and was ridden on Sunday by Ben Russell.
