Diabolical Dame, under Tracy Hebert, wins the Bold Ego Handicap by a length.

Horses trained by Todd Fincher swept the trifecta in the $65,000 Bold Ego Handicap at Sunland Park on Sunday, when Diabolical Dame darted to a length win over the late-running Bryn’s Fancy Pants. It was another three-quarters of a length back in third to Tilla Cat.

The Bold Ego, for fillies and mares at 5 1/2 furlongs, shared a program with the $85,000 Four Rivers John Deere won by He’s Another Who ($17.40).

Diabolical Dame ($5.80) stalked the pace set by Tilla Cat, who dueled through fractions of 21.90 seconds for the opening quarter-mile and 45.18 for the half-mile. Diabolical Dame moved to the fore in the stretch and went on to cover the distance on a track rated “slow” in 1:04.77.
