Desert Party, Girolamo to be shown at Darley through January

Young stallions Desert Party and Girolamo will be available for viewing at Darley's Jonabell location in Lexington, Ky., through Jan. 11 before shipping to stand the 2013 breeding season at Becky Thomas' Sequel Stallions in Hudson, N.Y.
Desert Party, who began his stud career in 2011, stood at Jonabell in 2012 for a fee of $10,000. A 6-year-old Street Cry stallion and Grade 2 winner, Desert Party has 15 weanlings offered at the Keeneland November breeding stock sale, including an $85,000 purchase out of the Kris S mare Lil Cozette on Wednesday.
Grade 1 winner Girolamo, a 6-year-old by A.P. Indy, stood his first season this year at Sequel Stallions for a fee of $15,000. He is a full brother to Grade 2 winner Daydreaming, Grade 3 winner and sire Accelerator, Supercharger, dam of 2010 Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver, and She's a Winner, dam of Grade 1 winner and sire Bluegrass Cat.
