Delta Downs handle increases

Delta Downs reported a 3.3 percent increase in handle during its 2006-2007 meet, the first for Thoroughbreds at the track since the 2004-2005 season. Damage from Hurricane Rita caused the cancellation of 2005-2006 meet at the Vinton, La., track

Attendance figures are not available because admission to Delta, which operates a slots casino, is free.
