Delaware: Super Frolic invades

Super Frolic, decisive winner of a stakes at Calder three weeks ago, makes his first appearance since being sold when he runs Monday in a $50,000 overnight stakes at Delaware Park. The 1 1/8-mile race drew a field of eight older horses.

In his most recent start, cruised to a 5 3/4-length victory going 1 1/16 miles, earning a 104 Beyer Speed Figure.

In 26 previous races, the 5-year-old Super Frolic raced exclusively in south Florida with the exception of a fifth-place finish in the Breeders' Futurity at Keeneland in 2002.

Super Frolic's chief competition could come from Trapped Again, coming off a win in an optional claimer at Delaware with a career-best 111 Beyer.
