I was out there the other day, playing in a poker tournament, they didn't have enough dealers to accommodate all the entrants so some players waited an hour or so to play.after I bombed out ,I went downstairs to bet a few races, but because of a dispute , you could only bet on some harness tracks and that new place in Ohio.if you wanted to bet football ,because of the limited number of games left ,you had to tie your parlay in with the East West Shrine game,or something like that, apparently over under doesn't count as a wager.I love Del Park , I've been going there since the glory days ,when you could hear the roar of the crowd from the Kirkwood Highway.its an important piece of history of our state.Architecture like that will never be seen again once its gone.I'm saddened by the current state of the place,I'm not sure what will bring it back ,but Mr Rickman seems to be committed to racing ,and that's a hopefully sign.So good luck Delaware Park, maybe more Delawareans will discover the jewel that sits in our state
