In his last start, the Hansel Stakes at Turfway Park, Urban Guy took himself out of the race when he broke poorly. He had no such problem in the $75,000 Francis "Jock" LaBelle Memorial at Delaware Park, hounding pacesetter City Dweller down the backstretch and taking command turning for home en route to a 1 1/4-length score. Mike'sgood-andtough made a late run for second, with City Dweller holding on for third in the field of five 3-year-olds. Owned by Greg Warren and trained by Tim Ritchey, Urban Guy covered the six furlongs in 1:10.20 under Stewart Elliott and returned $3.70. City Dweller was sent off at 3-5 off his front-running score in the Lost Code at Hawthorne last out. The victory was the second in a stakes for Urban Guy, a son of Marquetry. Since being claimed by Ritchey for $40,000 in October, Urban Guy has also won a Delaware allowance race and the Mountain Valley at Oaklawn.
