Delaware: 'Frisky' drops and scores

Frisky Spider, the 4-5 favorite, sat off the pace for a quarter-mile, moved onto the flank of pacesetter Snub the Devil at the half, then inched ahead in the stretch to win the $75,300 Francis "Jock" LaBelle Memorial by a neck.

Xtreamotion was another length back, a non-threatening third.

Frisky Spider, ridden by Eddie King Jr., covered the six furlongs in 1:11.16 and paid $3.60. Frisky Spider's last two races, his only losses in six lifetime starts, came in the Grade 2 Fountain of Youth and the Grade 1 Florida Derby.
