Delaware: Annika Lass gets up

Annika Lass and jockey Daniel Velazquez took advantage of a speed duel in the $76,200 Sweet and Sassy Handicap at Delaware Park, rallying along the rail for a nose victory over the 6-5 favorite, Fortress Hill. Annika Lass, owned by Anita Racing Stable and trained by Alfredo Velazquez, covered the six furlongs in 1:11.06
