DEL MAR, Calif. - The unbeaten Sweet Lulu is likely to run in the $100,000 Torrey Pines Stakes for 3-year-old fillies over a mile after winning her first start around two turns in an optional claimer on Wednesday. Trained by Jerry Hollendorfer, Sweet Lulu led throughout the one-mile race under jockey Julien Leparoux, winning by 4 3/4 lengths in 1:35.99. She earned a career-best 99 Beyer Speed Figure.
