Del Mar carryover at $255,815

DEL MAR, Calif. - The Monday program at Del Mar will feature a pick six carryover of $255,815, which was created by Miss Loren's upset win at 34-1 in Sunday's Clement Hirsch Handicap.

The pick six covers the third through eighth races, including two turf races, three sprints on dirt and one route race on dirt.

The third leg is run over a mile on turf for $70,000 to $80,000 claimers. Spinelessjellyfish, a multiple stakes winner, takes a drop in class, but must beat Dell Place (the 2-1 morning line favorite) and Sweet Stepper.

The fourth race is run over six furlong for maiden claimers. Fierceinterrogator is the 5-2 morning-line favorite, but Courtney's Castle, Lass Lil' Sunrise and Going on Again will be well-backed.

There are 10 runners in the fifth race, run over six furlongs for $16,000 claimers. Gray Jag, the morning-line favorite, is drawn outside. His biggest threats are April Steel, Flying Fugitive and Dominated Day.

There are only eight starters in the sixth race for 3-year-old fillies, run over a mile for $14,000 to $16,000 claimers. The race lacks a standout. Dancing Event is the 5-2 choice on the morning line.

The featured seventh race is run over five furlongs on turf. Spencer's Magic, who was 1-2 to win a turf sprint at Hollywood Park, will attract support. In the Hollywood Park race, he unseated jockey Alex Bisono in the final sixteenth. Head of the House, a troubled second in that race, is 9-2 but has drawn outside.

The finale is run over 5 1-2 furlongs for maiden claimers. In a field of 11, Erin is 5-2 on the morning line, a slight choice over One Excessive Lady, Quick Cover and Eleanor Rose.
