Del Mar carryover $124,720 for Wednesday

DEL MAR, Calif. - For the third time in the past four days, no one hit the pick six on Monday at Del Mar, leading to a carryover of $124,720 entering Wednesday's card. There is no racing at Del Mar on Tuesday.

The pick six on Wednesday encompasses races three through eight.

In the third race, Beyond Our Wildest is being brought back at the same $25,000 level at which he won in fast time at Hollywood Park one month ago. The returning Hurricane Smoke has trained swiftly for his comeback.

In the fourth race, first-time starter Table of Contents merits a look in a weak maiden-claiming race. De Svedonya ran well in her last start at Hollywood Park, but she's a nine-time loser already. Glow of Love is lightly raced, and ran well here the first week of the meet.

In the fifth race, It's a Perfect Day could be a pace play on the stretch out. Sharp Mark just missed against similar at Hollywood.

In the sixth race, Our Emerald makes her first start since being claimed by red-hot Jeff Mullins. Nichole's Delight is a consistent sort at this level.

The featured seventh race, the Escondido Handicap, finds old class horse Sarafan stretching out to 1 3/8 miles. He is coupled with Pellegrino. Leprechaun Kid has run three strong races since being gelded.

The eighth and final race is another maiden-claiming sprint. Touchdown USC rallied for third in an improved second effort. Charmopoly had a brutal trip in his debut.
