Del Mar carryover $115,000 for Friday

DEL MAR, Calif.-Del Mar's Friday evening program features a one-day pick six carryover of $115,402.

The pick six covers the third through eighth races on a program that begins at 4 p.m. Pacific. The feature race is the $85,000 Wickerr Handicap over a mile on turf. In a positive switch from a majority of the programs in the first 10 days of the meeting, there is only one maiden claimer in the pick six, the third race.

There are several scratches in the pick six races.

In the fourth race, Cassablanca is scratched from the also-eligible list of a one-mile allowance race over a mile on turf.

In the fifth race, Princess Suances and No Due Diligence have been withdrawn from a maiden race for California-bred 2-year-old fillies. Alex B. Good will wear blinkers.

The seventh race, the Wickerr Handicap, has a field of 10. Cheroot, Hello Sunday and Tybalt have been withdrawn. Bonjour and Sartorial have drawn in from the also-eligible list. Worldly will wear blinkers.

Becrux, the winner of the Wickerr in 2006-07 and Lang Field, a Grade 1 winner last year, are the leading contenders.

In the final race, a six-furlong $10,000 claimer, Clinton Potts will ride Catcus Lightning.
