Dayatthespa won the Yaddo Stakes on Aug. 24 at Saratoga, and will be offered as a broodmare prospect in this fall's Fasig-Tipton November sale.

Grade 1 winner Dayatthespa will be offered at the 2014 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky fall selected mixed sale at the end of her autumn campaign.

The 5-year-old City Zip mare will be consigned by Lane’s End as agent for owners Jerry Frankel, Ronald Frankel, Steve Laymon, and Bradley Thoroughbreds. She is trained by Chad Brown and is aiming for the Grade 1 First Lady Stakes at Keeneland Race Course after winning the Yaddo Stakes at Saratoga on Aug. 24.

In total, Dayatthespa has won 9 of 16 starts for earnings of $948,892. Her career highlights include wins in the Grade 1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes and the Grade 3 Herecomesthebride Stakes and Appalachian Stakes. She has also won five listed stakes and placed in three additional graded stakes.

“We are very excited to offer Dayatthespa this November at Fasig-Tipton,” said Bill Farish, president of Lane’s End Farm. “She continually gives her fans goose bumps on the track and should provide the same excitement in the sales ring as she moves onto the next stage of her career.”

The New York-bred Dayatthespa is out of the unplaced Doc’s Leader mare M‘Lady Doc, whose four foals to race are all winners. Dayatthespa is from the family of Grade 2 winner Clev Er Tell and Grade 3 winner Phi Beta Doc.

The Fasig-Tipton November sale will be held Monday, Nov. 3, at Fasig-Tipton’s Newtown Paddocks base in Lexington, Ky.
