Darley Stud will keep Medaglia d'Oro and Street Cry at their 2010 stud fee levels for the coming breeding season and will decrease the fees of seven other stallions on the roster at its Kentucky farm.

Medaglia d'Oro will continue to stand for $100,000, and Street Cry will command a $150,000 fee again. Sheikh Mohammed al-Maktoum's operation will raise the fee of one stallion, Bernardini, from $60,000 to $75,000. An A. P. Indy horse, he is in a tight three-way battle with Congrats and Bluegrass Cat for freshman sire honors this year.

The horses whose fees will drop are Elusive Quality, who goes from $75,000 to $50,000; Any Given Saturday, from $25,000 to $20,000; Street Sense, from $50,000 to $40,000; Hard Spun, from $35,000 to $30,000; Street Boss, from $20,000 to $17,500; Discreet Cat, from $20,000 to $17,500; and Henny Hughes, from $25,000 to $12,500.

Darley also will introduce two stallions in 2011. They are Desert Party, who will have a $15,000 fee, and Midshipman, who will stand for $10,000.
