Dancethruthedawn to face five

FORT ERIE, Ontario - Dancethruthedawn, winner of the Queen's Plate at Woodbine on June 24, will attempt to get a second leg up on the Canadian Triple Crown when she faces five rivals at Fort Erie in Sunday's Prince of Wales.

The field for the Prince of Wales, a 1 3/16-mile race which will be worth $350,000, was announced Wednesday.

Dancethruthedawn, owned by Sam-Son Farm and trained by Mark Frostad, again will have Gary Boulanger in the irons and is Daily Racing Form's 9-5 morning-line favorite. She will begin from post 4.

There also should be solid support for Win City, who was second as the odds-on choice in the 1 1/4-mile Plate, and Wild Years, who won his maiden impressively over 1 1/8 miles at Belmont his last time out.

Constant Montpellier retains the mount on Win City, DRF's 2-1 second choice, while Richard Migliore will be in to ride the Saratoga-based Wild Years, who is next in line at 5-2.

Win City drew the 2 hole, while Wild Years will begin from the rail.

Rounding out the field will be Brushing Bully, Asia, and Thatsthebottomline, the third-, fourth-, and sixth-place finishers in the Queen's Plate.

Thatsthebottomline worked five furlongs in 1:03.80 on the good training track at Woodbine Thursday under regular rider Ray Sabourin.
