Daily Racing Form expands DRF Breeding, launches new SirePowered Results tool

Email

Daily Racing Form is pleased to announce the launch of its DRF Breeding SirePowered Results interface, the first interactive sire tool to help breeders and owners sort results on demand.

This new tool will provide:
► Streamlined access to race results from all tracks in the U.S. and Canada
► Sortable by sire, name of winner, track, date, age, type of race, distance, and surface
► Expanded results are free and fast, in most cases available just minutes after a race is final
► Beyer Speed Figures for all winners in North America will be included
► Most recent auction information provided for all winners, when applicable
► Links to DRF charts for all recent winners

A newly designed DRF Breeding newsletter will take readers to a revitalized homepage as well as to the SirePowered Results page. The new SirePowered Results can be found at http://www.drf.com/breeder-results/, as well as at www.drf.com/breeding.

"In 2012, Daily Racing Form introduced  DRF Breeding because of the importance the owners and breeders play in putting on the show, supplying the athletes, and we are committed to serving this important segment of the racing community," said John Hartig, Daily Racing Form Chairman and CEO. "SirePowered Results and its unique real-time functionality was created with input from our Breeding customers and is a natural extension of DRF’s live reporting capabilities.  We are confident that this powerful tool’s capability to keep our customers abreast of sires’ and horses’ race results as they happen will serve them well.”

In the coming weeks and months, richer data will be added and become searchable for the most recent 18 months and from 25 countries. Future search categories will include all states where bred, plus offer sortable results by exclusive Beyer Speed Figures. Race Replays for all stakes will be added as well.

“We are proud to debut this next phase of DRF Breeding, which further deepens our mission to bridge the worlds of racing and breeding,” said Mark Simon, Daily Racing Form Editorial Director. “Our SirePowered Results exemplifies the type of tools which are valuable to owners, breeders, sales companies and everyone involved with the stars of our sport – the Thoroughbreds.”

DRF Breeding in recent months has expanded its reporting and coverage of the sales and auctions via DRF Live! Over 3,000 people tuned in for DRF Breeding's real-time coverage of the recent Keeneland sale, providing news and highlights as they happened.

In other areas, DRF is serving the breeding community by providing unique editions that help tell the local stories. These editions have included regional sections, like the Mid-Atlantic stallion issue and the Florida Stallion issue, plus a number of special issues previewing sales.
