Led by classic sire Curlin, whose fee remains unchanged at $150,000, Hill 'n' Dale Farm has released its roster and advertised fees for the 2018 season. Two-time Horse of the Year Curlin, by Smart Strike, has sired a classic winner or classic-placed runner in each of his first five crops. The stallion's runners this season are led by champion and multiple Grade 1 winner Stellar Wind, expected to be among the favorites in the Breeders' Cup Distaff, along with Grade 2 winners Curlin's Apprival, Irish War Cry, and Keen Ice. Irish War Cry finished second in the Belmont Stakes. Hill ‘n’ Dale previously announced that four-time reigning leading turf sire Kitten’s Joy will stand for $60,000 in 2018. The stallion recently moved to Hill ‘n’ Dale from his longtime home at Ramsey Farm, where he stood for $100,000 in 2017. Maclean's Music, the sire of Preakness Stakes winner Cloud Computing in his first crop, sees his fee spike to $25,000 from $8,500. Hill ‘n’ Dale’s roster also includes Violence at $25,000; champion Flintshire at $20,000; Bayern, Kantharos, Midnight Lute, and Stormy Atlantic at $15,000; and Atreides, Flashback, New Year's Day, and Secret Circle at $5,000. :: DRF BREEDING LIVE: Real-time coverage of breeding and sales
