Two of this year’s most exciting freshman sires will have representatives on a major stage this week, as Belmont cards a pair of juvenile stakes in the Tremont and the Astoria.

In Thursday’s Astoria for 2-year-old fillies, Bode’s Dream immediately steps into stakes company off a 3 3/4-length debut victory May 11 at Gulfstream Park. The filly was the first winner for classic-placed Grade 1 winner Bodemeister, a commercial leader of his class.

In Friday’s Tremont Stakes, Lady Stardust, a daughter of 2012 Belmont Stakes winner Union Rags, is the lone filly in the field of seven. She became the first of two winners to date for her sire in April, when she rolled to a 5 1/2-length debut score at Aqueduct.

Also represented in the Tremont are freshman sires Mission Impazible, whose entrant, Silver Mission, was a debut winner in April at Aqueduct, and Maclean’s Music, whose son Is Everybody Happy won his debut May 25 at Delaware Park.
