Kaleem Shah's two-time graded winner and track record-setter Concord Point has retired and will enter stud at Hill 'n' Dale Farm.

A Tapit colt, he will start his breeding career with a $7,500 fee.

Concord Point ended his racing career on a winning note in the Grade 2 West Virginia Derby in August, in which he beat Exhi by a length. That brought his stakes tally to two, his other graded victory having come in June's Grade 3 Iowa Derby, which he won by 8 1/2 lengths in track-record time of 1:40.37. Concord Point also was second to Smiling Tiger in the Grade 3 Laz Barrera Memorial. In 2009, he won his only start at 2, a Santa Anita maiden special weight, by 1 1/4 lengths.

Concord Point leaves trainer Bob Baffert's barn with 4 wins from 6 lifetime starts and $669,260 in earnings. Lee McMillin and Ed Rudley bred Concord Point from the Boston Harbor winner Harve de Grace He is her first stakes-winner.
