DRF Breeding editor Mark Simon was founding editor of Thoroughbred Times, the award-winning publication for Thoroughbred owners, breeders, and trainers that was published from 1985 to 2012. Simon was awarded the Charles Englehard Award in 2009 from the Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders for lifetime achievements in media. He lives in Lexington, Ky.
