Classify carries streak to Evangeline

National training powerhouse Steve Asmussen will send out Classify in Saturday night's Hallowed Dreams Stakes at Evangeline Downs. The 5 1/2-furlong headliner for 3-year-old fillies drew a field of nine who will compete for a $50,000 purse.

Riding a three-race winning streak, Classify comes into the Hallowed Dreams off a hard-fought three-quarter-length victory in optional claiming company at Oaklawn Park on March 11. A daughter of Unbridled's Song, she marched quickly through her conditions at the Hot Springs, Ark., track after beginning the year as a maiden. Dominic Terry will ride Classify, who was assigned 119 pounds.

Sueno, perfect in two starts over the winter at Delta Downs, appears to be Classify's primary threat. Trained by Nathan Wallis, Sueno rallied strongly from off the pace in each of her victories, most recently in an entry-level allowance test.

Alba Dabas Secret, victorious in the $100,000 Green Oaks Stakes at Delta in her last start, will turn back from one mile and race at one turn for the first time since winning a second-level allowance for West Virginia-breds in late December. Trained by Don Roberson, Alba Dabas Secret won her only other sprint attempt when she crushed maiden special weight company at Mountaineer in her career debut by over a dozen lengths.
