Asmussen winners to Lone Star

Expect Will and Berdelia, who each won divisions of the Texas Thoroughbred Association will both make their next starts at Lone Star. Trainer Steve Asmussen said the pair will be pointed to their respective divisions of the $125,000 Texas Stallion Stakes. The fillies division will be run on July 10, and the colts and geldings division will close out the Lone Star meet on July 11.

Berdelia races for Ro Parra, and Heiligbrodt Racing Stable owns the undefeated Expect Will.
