Claiborne Farm will raise Arch's stud fee in 2007 while lowering fees for four of its other stallions, the farm announced Monday. His most noteworthy runners this year are Alabama and Gazelle winner Pine Island, Del Mar Oaks winner Arravale, and dual Group 1 winner Les Arcs. Claiborne's other stallions -including Seeking the Gold at $125,000 and Pulpit at $80,000 - will have the same fees they had this year. Claiborne also will debut First Samurai at stud in 2007. The 3-year-old Giant's Causeway-Freddie Frisson colt, who won last year's Champagne and Hopeful stakes, will stand for $40,000. * Four of Padua Stables' five stallions in Summerfield, Fla., will have the same fees they had last year, and Pico Central will have his fee there lowered from $10,000 to $7,500 in 2007, Padua announced Monday.
