The Churchill Downs Racing Club, which has enjoyed major success this season with graded stakes winner Warrior’s Club, added to its holdings at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-year-old sale. The Club purchased an Algorithms colt, already named Distant Shore, for $50,000 from the consignment of Eddie Woods. The colt, who will be trained by Tom Amoss, is the first foal out of the winning Touch Gold mare Glimpse. The Churchill Downs Racing Club was founded in the spring of 2016 with the goal of providing a low-cost view into Thoroughbred ownership. Up to 200 people participate in each horse under the club model for a one-time membership cost of $500. :: Get breeding & sales news, Beyer info, and more delivered right to your email!
