LOUISVILLE, Ky. - D. Wayne Lukas and Pat Day combined to win the Debutante Stakes for a record sixth time each when Classic Elegance overtook her Lukas-trained stablemate Paragon Queen in the final sixteenth of a mile of the Grade 3 race for 2-year-old fillies.

Classic Elegance, the favorite in the $110,800 Debutante, returned $5.60 after finishing 5 1/2 furlongs in 1:04.18 over a fast track.

Classic Elegance now will head to Saratoga, said Lukas.
