Charles Town: Trio coming off stakes wins

Seeyoubychance, Snack, and Wild Remarks - each a stakes winner in his most recent start - are prime contenders in the $50,000 St. Nick, a seven-furlong stakes for 2-year-olds at Charles Town.

Seeyoubychance comes off a neck win in the H.S. Mitchell at Pimlico, earning a Beyer of 75. In his only previous start at Charles Town, he won his maiden going 4 1/2 furlongs.

Snack came from far back to beat 10 rivals in the Indiana Futurity at Hoosier Park with a Beyer of 71 on Nov. 7. He ships in from his base at Churchill Downs for trainer Michael Lauer. Travis Dunkelberger, named as jockey on three horses at the time of entry, has elected to ride Snack.

Wild Remarks is already a two-time stakes winner at Charles Town. Most recently, he cruised to a 13-length win in the seven-furlong West Virginia Futurity with a Beyer of 77.

Other contenders include Malibu Moonshine, who adds blinkers after finishing a length behind Seeyoubychance last time out, and Another Dilemma a four-length winner of a seven-furlong allowance at Philadelphia Park in his most recent race.
