Champion sprinter Big Drama's first foal was born on Friday in Ocala, Fl.

Champion sprinter Big Drama was represented by his first foal on Jan. 11, a filly born at Hal Queen Farm in Ocala, Fla.

The chestnut filly is out of the multiple stakes-winning Meadow Prayer mare Bucky's Prayer. Bucky’s Prayer is a half-sister to three winners, including stakes winner Zosia's Genius and stakes-placed Crimson Bucky.

Big Drama, a 7-year-old Montbrook horse, won 11 of 19 career starts for earnings of $2,746,060. He won 10 stakes races, including the 2010 Breeders' Cup Sprint to cap his Eclipse Award-winning campaign. His other graded stakes victories came in the Grade 2 Smile Sprint Handicap in 2010, the Grade 3 Delta Jackpot Stakes in 2008, and the Grade 3 Mr. Prospector Stakes in 2011.

Big Drama is out of the unraced Notebook mare Riveting Drama, who has produced eight winners from as many to start, including stakes winners Drama's Way, Little Drama, and Queen Drama.

Big Drama stands for $10,000 at Woodford Stallions at Stonewall Farm in Ocala, Fla.
